This year is Josh Elton’s debut hour at the Fringe – it is a tough thing to crack but this comic has it sorted and has entered the Fringe with a bang. Away With The Fairies is an entertaining show delving into the world of growing up in the nineties, living in Swansea, his car going viral and his relationship with his brother – only to name a few of the topics on display.
Elton has a way of telling a story that makes you feel engaged and excited to see what is going to happen next in the joke. I think this is to do with the fact he has a certain confidence on the stage that he owns the room with his bubbly personality and creates this enjoyable atmosphere. With jokes that are punchy, quick witted and with unexpected outcomes you are sure to enjoy this show.
A really fun debut show and I would suggest that you see this show before the Fringe is over as Josh is a comedian that is going to go from strength to strength and you should make it your duty to see him at the start of it all.
