As soon as you sit down, you are welcomed into the world of Holly, only a handful of shows can open with a song about being a disclaimer that all the stories in the show should not relate to anyone else. It really heightens the stakes and creates the level of energy you should expect from the rest of the show.
This show is unique, it is quirky and very different to other stand up shows. Holly has a really dramatic way of delivering a story that it has this way of enchanting you and making you pay attention throughout the whole show. It doesn’t miss a beat.
If we are going to talk about this show we have to speak about the songs as they are the star of the show – they have an, I suppose you could say Ed Sheeran style to them with they way that they have many layers musically that create this really interesting experience for the audience.
The show is scattered with superb storytelling, a secret job relating to billionaires and an element of theatre as well.
There are many stories that people can relate to, or just enjoy as they are very fun and create a lot of laughter. If you want to see something a little bit different at Fringe this year then head to Holly Spillar’s show, you will be incredibly disappointed if you miss it.
