There is something about Caroline that when you enter the room you instantly feel like you have entered a room of sunshine – it is not the interior, it is the fact that she is just an incredibly joyful and delightful persona on stage. Before the show has even started and she is welcoming people into the room, there is a warm welcome.
This is a great show about sibling rivalry, growing up in Northern Ireland, relationships and the train man. I don’t want to give too much away but it is all these reasons that you should see this show.
Intertwined with songs, incredibly quick witted jokes and some fun audience interactions this is a show that is sure to provide you with lots of laughs. There are some special gems about Batman, The Little Mermaid, a girl only school and the relationship with her brother.
I spoke to Caroline earlier this year where she explained that she has taken two years to write this debut show and you can see the quality and the delivery of the jokes. I would not think this is her debut if I did not know as it is very strong and I would say that there is no point where the energy dipped. The audience respond to every joke well and laugh a lot and that is a sign of a great show.
If you are planning to see comedy this year then make it your duty to add this to your list of shows to see. If this is the debut, I am excited to see what the future holds for the rest of her shows.
RATING: ****’ 4.5 Stars
