Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Hi I’m Sharon, I’m 27 and I love cheese and documentaries about Orcas

Tell us all about your show!

My show is mainly about self help but also about me. It’s about growing up and being young and old at the same time and genuinely freaking out because how did our parents do this?

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Oh genuinely everyone, that’s my favourite part of the fringe. I’m going to see everyone and everything. I’m keeping all my fingers crossed that there will be ONE show featuring a dog.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I have indeed, I’ve been many a time- some as a punter and some as a performer. Honestly it’s so cliche but just look after yourself mentally and physically but also have ONE thing you do that has nothing to do with the Fringe.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Routine? Teeeeheeeeee. Stress, eat, cry, stress, party.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

I have haggis every single day and I’m not even kidding. Restaurant wise, Maki and Ramen is the absolute goat. I would move to Edinburgh for Maki and Ramen.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Seeing all your friends do amazing things with their lives. I’m so proud of all of them awwwww

What is the hardest part about performing at the Fringe?

The weather does NOT bang. I always see people in London post s*** like “Urghh it’s so hot I can’t breathe” and I’m like, must be nice….b*******

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I don’t bring anything physical but I talk to my mum and best friend everyday. Besties.

What would be your top three items every performer must take to the fringe?

More underwear than you think you need, a diary and a good water bottle.

what’s the secret to successful flyering?

Honestly become comfortable with rejection QUICK! It’s like exposure therapy. Once you flyer you can do anything.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

Instagram pretty please @sharonwanjohi_, I have a linktree in my bio with all my datessss xx

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Because your life will change. That or your money back
