Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Hiya! I’m a comedian and writer from Manchester

Tell us all about your show!

My show is about when I got to my thirties I started panicking that I’d been living like a slob with no real goals and I needed to make big changes into my life but then I got a really rare deadly illness out of nowhere and ended up going into a coma. I got Lemierre syndrome which caused sepsis to my lungs, it was all a bit crazy and out of nowhere.  It took a while to recover and I had no choice but to put everything on pause and keep being a slob. There’s nothing more slob than being in a coma. It deals with illness and medical trauma as well as that universal feeling that you’ve not done enough with your life. But I promise it’s a laugh! And they’ll be a buffet on.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Alison Spittle, Frankie Monroe, Dan Tiernan, Alex Stringer, Tamsyn Kelly and I saw an Australian Meat Loaf tribute last year and really hoping he’s there this year

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I haven’t done a full run but I did Best in Class a few years ago so the longest I’ve been there is about 10 days. Not gonna lie, the idea of performing everyday for a month is proper mad but I’m looking forward to the challenge. I think the main thing is to eat well, get enough sleep, don’t get pissed and get enough time to binge watch 90 day fiancé in bed.

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

I’m excited to see how the show evolves, it’s been so fun and special to make. Also excited to be able to see my mates and go to all the charity shops

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Spend the first two hours lying in bed watching YouTube videos of people at theme parks, panic whilst eating a pie, feel better, do my show, try to do some form of exercise but even if I don’t having the intention was good, have a pie, like things on vinted, start a mosh pit.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Piemaker! A pie a day keeps the doctor away right?

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

It has such a fun exciting buzz it feels so special to be part of it all.

What is the hardest part about performing at the Fringe?

Feel like your stuck in Groundhog Day

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I’ve got an E.T. that I had with me in my coma, we have a love/hate relationship because I did think he was real and trying to kill me at one point but it turned out that was just delirium. So that and some books I’ll never read.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

Try not to get p*****

What would be your top three items every performer must take to the fringe?

Underpants, socks, Mr beast chocolate

what’s the secret to successful flyering?

Being high

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

I only use Instagram it’s mollehmcguinness

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Meatloaf, coma, sex – what more would ya want?
