There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.
Something – Lasgo
Today we are going to look at a song that was really popular when it was released and I feel we should have a focus on it today to remind ourselves about it.
On the 15th June 2001, the Belgian group Lasgo released the single Something. It was the debut single from the group and was from the album Some Things that was released in the same year.
It was written by Peter Luts and David Vervoort and released under the record labels of Antler-Subway and Positiva.
I personally remember that this track was very catchy dance sone and looking at the chart history it is not hard to see why as to how well it did.
Something went into the top 5 in Belgium (5), Ireland Dance (2), Scotland (3) and US Maxi-Sales (5). In the UK it did really well and went to numbre 1 in the UK Dance chart and number 4 in the UK single charts.
In the UK it also became certified Platinum and gold in Belgium, Denmark and Germany.
