There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
If there is one thing that I can positively say about Marseille is that it looks really beautiful in a photograph. The pictures I adore the most are of the water they personally are my favourite.
Today’s photograph was taken by the harbour, high up on one of the local pathway’s nearby – I really liked this angle as it gives the photograph depth and interest.
I like that there is always something new to see – one minute you are looking at the building in the top right corner and another time you are looking at all the different boats in the harbour below.
I really adore the way the dark blue sea highlights the rooftops and the white buildings. The way the sky is sort of a gradient shows that it was a very hot day.
