There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.
Killer 2000 – ATB
If there is one thing that was obvious in the late nineties was that dance music was prominent and very much on trend. I vaguely remember some of the songs but there are certain DJs and Producers that were always in the charts and ATB was one of them.
On the 31st May 1999, ATB released the song Killer 2000. It was a cover version of a song that was released by Adamski. In 1990 ATB’s version featured the vocals of Drue Williams. It was released under the record labels of Kontor for Germany Radical in the US.
You may recognise this version of the song as it has appeared on an episode of Only Fools and Horses, Emmerdale and Beavis and Butthead.
The song went to number 4 in the UK charts and number 32 in the US Hot Dance Single Sales and into the top 20 in Europe.
