Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
V8 SPICY CHIPOTLE
Today we are going down the drinks aisle to look at a product that was released by the brand V8. The brand V8 was founded in 1933 by William Gilbert Peacock to help bring vegetable juices to the masses to provide diet and nutrition benefits.
One of the products the V8 has released in recent years Spicy Chipotle. This combines roasted red peppers, dehydrated chilli and chipotle peppers. It also has the juice of carrot, celery, beets, parsley, lettuce, watercress and spinach. The drink has both vitamins A and C and is around 50 calories per serving.
Apparently the drink has a savory flavour that has a kick of heat to it. It can be purchased at many grocery stores as well.
