Forgotten Songs! – This Week – Like This

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Like This – Kelly Rowland ft Eve

Today we are going to look at a single that was released by a member of Destiny’s Child – Kelly Rowland.

On the 15th March 2007, Kelly Rowland released the single Like This. It was written by Sean Garrett, Eve Jeffers Jamal Jones, Jason Perry, Kelly Rowland and Elvis Williams. It was released on the record labels of Columbia and Music World. It was the lead single from her second solo album Ms. Kelly that was released the same year.

The song featured the rapper EVE and the whole song is based around a woman growing out of a past relationship.

The single did realy well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Australian Urban (4), Belgium (6), Ireland (5), Netherlands (6) and US Dance Club songs (1). In the United Kingdom it went into the charts at number 4 and number 2 in the Hip Hop Charts. In the United Kingdom it gained a silver certificate and in the US it received a gold certification.
