Every day this month we are taking a look at a variation of couples from different television shows. It is the month of ‘love’ so it in tradition we are looking at the world of relationships. There will be spoilers throughout so be warned!

Day 27 – Homer and Marge,

The Simpsons

If we are talking about television couples then we have to include a couple that have been there since I was a kid and has always been a huge part of my life – The Simpsons.

I have always loved The Simpsons and up until I would say season 10ish, the episodes are great. The best thing about the early seasons are it really seasons are that it really focusses on their marriage, how they met, overcome issues etc and that is what makes it great.

It’s not the perfect marriage however that is not what makes Homer ad Marge perfect – there are a lot of episodes such as the Prom, the affairs, the ones where they try to spice up their marriage that make them a great couple to watch.

It may be a cartoon but I really do love it.
