Every day this month we are taking a look at a variation of couples from different television shows. It is the month of ‘love’ so it in tradition we are looking at the world of relationships. There will be spoilers throughout so be warned!

Day 20 – Hugo and Alice,

Vicar Of Dibley

One of the best couples in comedy television is Hugo and Alice of Vicar of Dibley. This will always be an opinion of mine because it has such huge comedy value and it will make you laugh again and again and again.

I love Vicar of Dibley and one of the things that makes it both special and hilarious is the relationship between Alice and Hugo. They are both the silliest characters in the show and that is why it works so well.

There are so many things i love about them and they have had some amazing storylines – when they first get together, their wedding, the birth of their first child, when they both secretly like each other – and they are scattered throughout to make a great timeline. I have re-watched this show so many times and it never gets boring and I always laugh at the same parts over and over again.

Vicar of Dibley is an amazing comedy show and it is one of those shows that you can put on when you feel down and always have a laugh.
