Every day this month we are taking a look at a variation of couples from different television shows. It is the month of ‘love’ so it in tradition we are looking at the world of relationships. There will be spoilers throughout so be warned!

Day 17 – David and Patrick,

Schitt’s Creek

When I first tried to watch Schitts Creek, I couldn’t get into it as it was quite different to other comedy shows that I could not click with it. I got to about halfway through season 1 and gave up. A couple of years later I decided to go back to the show and watch it in it’s entirety and this time I clicked with it and really enjoyed it.

I really loved the David and Patrick story right from the start, it just really connected with me. I like the way that Patrick brought David out of his shell whilst also not trying to change him at the same time.

They are really a great couple and they love some really romantic moments such as the song Patrick sings and performs and the dance that David does to Tina Turner.

It is an adorable storyline and I highly recommend watching if you have not already, stick with the show if you had the same issue as I had as it is a great piece of writing.
