Every day this month we are taking a look at a variation of couples from different television shows. It is the month of ‘love’ so it in tradition we are looking at the world of relationships. There will be spoilers throughout so be warned!

Day 8 – Emma and Hook, Once Upon A Time

It takes a while for this relationship to occur because Hook is not in it for the first few seasons. I have never been a fan of the character Captain Hook and I think it is the same for a lot of people and why Once Upon A Time took the character and spin it on it’s head a little bit.

it takes a while for the relationships to actually happen but when it does it is a funny part of the show and it makes everything a little bit more intense. It starts to change the way that Emma is whilst also creating a character that has started to rely so heavily on love that she actually cannot live without him or which can lead the storyline and it develops the character.

The great thing about Emma and Hook is the chemistry it initially creates a lot of the comedy and will they or won’t they which really engages with the audience. There are some really interesting couples in Once Upon A Time but these are one of the best.
