Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
CAULIFLOWER MAC AND CHEESE BOWL
Today we are heading down the frozen food aisle to take a look at a product that was released by the Tattooed Chef.
We won’t go into the ins and outs of the bankruptcy etc the company has been through and the revamp on it as it is not relevant to the product. Instead we are going to solely focus on the food product itself.
The Tattooed Chef is a company founded by Sarah Galletti. The products celebrate vegetables and plant based cooking. One of the products under the Tattooed Chef brand is Cauliflower Mac and Cheese Bowl.
The product combines Cauliflower florets in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce and finally topped with Panko bread crumbs. The Cauliflower Mac and Cheese is vegetarian and has 16 grams if proteins. A lot of the Tattooed Chef products are available in Costco.
There are a lot of contradictory opinions about this product online – some state it is tasteless, not very nice and that it is not the product that it is sold as. There are others that praise the product stating it to be really delicious, a great texture and perfect.
