• The part of the bunk bed scene where Dwayne Johnson pretends to sleep was improvised. Ryan Reynolds’s reaction to this and Dwayne’s corpsing was spontaneous, genuine and kept in the final cut.
• Both Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson drink their own brands of liquor as their characters. In separate scenes, Johnson drinks Teremana Tequila whilst Reynolds drinks Aviation American Gin.
• Covid-19 protocols meant that the ballroom sequence had to be done with minimal people
• This jet-setting globe-trotting movie features numerous exotic locales and settings including Rome, Bali, Valencia, Cairo, Argentina, Sardinia and London. However, many of the sites were actually in Georgia, USA, which doubled for numerous locations.
