All year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. So I thought what a great way to end the year and highlight some of the tracks throughout 2023 that I have enjoyed. Here are some of my favourite tracks from July to September.

10/10/24 – Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want To Come – The Wombats
Wombats A bit of a different sounds for the Wombats but also one that works really well with their back catalogue. Initially you may be like me and dislike this track but like a lot of Wombats songs it grows on you and you end up enjoying it.
14/10/24 – Sink Like A Stone, Zebrahead
Bold guitars and punchy riffs just what you want from a rock song and this track is very catchy and will please zebrahead fans. It has a nice chorus and a beat that makes you want to bounce along to the song. It is a song that will help keep you warm through the winter.
24/10/24 – You Go Your Way, Perrie Edwards
This is another song I did not like when I first heard but it grows on you – whether that’s a positive or a negative thing I will leave that up to your own judgement. The chorus gets stuck in your head and feels a hint of eighties to it.
05/11/24 – Pitch Black, The Amazons
This song is really addictive, it has these big bold guitar riffs right from the start that automatically reel you in. When the chorus hits, you will notice your feet tapping along and really enjoying this song. It is really fun and it is a fantastic indie track.
15/11/24 -Stellar Cast, The Lathums
The one thing that you can guarantee with The Lathums is that when they release a single it will be super catchy and really stay in your head hours after you have listened to it. Stellar Cast is a fantastic song and really addictive. A great song.
29/11/24 – Cut You Off, Cody Frost feat Josh Franceschi
This song is really catchy and had a mix of rock and electronica to it that makes this really unique and fun mix of a song for you to listen to. It is a nice addition have Josh from You Me At Six on it as it makes a great combination of these two genres and creates something special.
10/12/2024 – Beautiful That Way, Miley Cyrus
This song was released this month as part of the playlist for the film The Last Showgirl. It is emotional, it is a song that really highlights the talents of Miley’s voice and allows you to really hear here in a new light. This is a really lovely song.
12/12/2024 – All My Love, Coldplay
If you have not seen this video yet then take ten minutes out of your life and watch it. I do not even like Coldplay but this song is lovely and a wonderful tribute to Dick Van Dyke. It is emotional and it is lovely to see all of his family in the video as well.
