If there is one thing I love writing about is Christmas but it is also an event that I love taking photographs of. I adore the sparkling lights of Christmas so I always take a lot of pictures. I always take a lot of images of the decorations as they fascinate me. Over the next few weeks we are going to talk about some of the photographs that I have taken over the years.
I have been to many parts of France at Christmas time and one thing I have learnt is that it is a country that is fantastic at doing Christmas decorations. I take so many photos when I go to France at this time of year as there is usually so much creativity.
Today’s photograph was taken in Macon, France. There was this mini Christmas display in the centre of town that had all these different scenes. Out of all the models that were there I liked this one in the photograph the best. I really enjoyed these elves because of the position of them looking at the church.
I adore the contrast of the white cold building, sky and decoration in the top of the photo compared to the bold colours of the elves at the front.
It is a really interesting photograph and every time I see it this photograph makes me feel cold due to the weather and festive at the same time.
