All year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. So I thought what a great way to end the year and highlight some of the tracks throughout 2023 that I have enjoyed. Here are some of my favourite tracks from January to March.

6/1/24 – Just Another Rainbow , Liam Gallagher & John Squire
If there is one thing that is positive about this track then it is the fact that it is a fantastic collaboration and is a really great song to listen to. It has a really lovely guitar melody throughout and it is a song that you can imagine listening to whilst driving on a summers day. If this is a sign of collaborations to come in 2024, it is a great start.
15/1/24 – Beautiful People Stay High, Black Keys
I heard this track on Radio X as it was their record of the week and it is a song that is catchy and really easy to enjoy. It has a really repetitive chorus and is a fun track to listen to. It is one of those songs that you want to tap your foot along to as it has a great beat to it.
19/1/23 – You Love Who You Love, Zara Larsson
This song I came across on new releases on Spotify and it is one of those songs that when you hear it is incredibly catchy and you can imagine it being used a lot in television shows. It has a catchy chorus and you can imagine there being a dance routine with it. The track has a wonderful beat and some good lyrics.
7/2/24 – Can’t Get Enough – Jennifer Lopez
This is a song that was released in January but I only just heard it this month – it is one of those tracks that has essences of old school J-Lo and I think that is why it is so catchy. The chorus is big and bold and it makes you want to sing along after a few times of hearing it.
20/2/24 – Electric, Alexander James
Backstreet Boys member AJ Mclean has always been known as this name whenever releasing new solo music – however in his recent release the name has been extended to Alexander James. The song Electric is actually a very catch pop hit and has a chorus that once you have listened to it more then once you will want to sing along to it.
21/2/24 – Call, Kasabian
When Kasabian release a single you can always expect something unique and catchy and this is a track that really shines when it hits the chorus. It is a song that you can imagine being played loud and then jumping around like crazy – it really is a fun song.
1/3/24 – Cheerleader, Phem featuring Waterparks
This is a song I only listened to because Waterparks featured and that is why it came up on my radar. It is actually quite a good song, it gradually grows and it has that electronic style that is very popular at the moment. The only good thing about acts featuring on a track is it means that you discover new artists.
13/3/24 – Dizzy, Olly Alexander
This is the United Kingdom’s Eurovision entry this year but it is actually really catchy and has a sort of nineties vibe that reminds me of songs by Steps. It is unique with this bell ringing sound throughout that is easy to get stuck in your head.
29/3/24 – II Most Wanted, Beyonce feat Miley Cyrus
If there was one person that really made the headlines with their return this month then it was Beyonce with a western themed album called Cowboy Carter. One of the songs that was on the album was with Miley Cyrus and it is a slower track on the album and one that I really enjoyed as it is nice to hear two really strong voices meld together.
