Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
M&MS PEANUT BRRR-ITTLE
Today we are looking at a frosty style M&M that hit the stores in the festive period of America. It is a common thing for candies to release customised themes at this time of year and M&M are leaders of this.
Peanut Brrrr-ittle M&Ms have been a popular treat at this time of year as these have been released more then once for a limited time. So. let’s take a look into what it is.
Just like a lot of these limited edition sweets, these were available in Target. The idea of the treat is to taste like peanut brittle. Reviews that I have seen online state that they have a different taste to Peanut M&Ms but no not define the caramel taste of Brittle. The candies are covered in a festive coloured sugar coating of red and green.
A serving size is 15g and that is 220 calories and 12 grams of fat.
