Slow Down – Bobby V
Today we are looking at a single that was very popular in the mid-noughties. It is a song that you may not remember so I thought that we would relook at it today.
On the 14th February 2005 the musician Bobby Valentino (also known as Bobby V) released the single Slow Down. It was the debut release by the American singer and was from the album that was self titled and released in the same year.
Slow Down was written by Tim Kelley, Bob Robinson and Bobby Wilson and was released under the record labels of Disturbing Tha Peace and Def Jam.
The song did really well in the charts and went to number 1 on the US Hot R&B chart and number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
In the United Kingdom it also did really well as it went to number 2 in the UK Hip Hop chart and number 4 in the UK singles chart. It became certified silver in the UK and certified gold in the USA.
