Your latest single you have released:

Our single is called Orgone Unicorn from the album of the same title. It came out in July.

Your favourite lyric in this song:

Our music is all instrumental so we have no lyrics. 

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

That is a tough question as we have made 44 albums and have a lot of great tracks but I guess I would say Sleeping with the Sunworm or Ode to a Black Hole. They are each one hr long songs. 

Your favourite song to play live:

We play totally improvised music so we never play anything that we have played before at our concerts. It is always new music that no one has ever heard.  Isn’t that cool??

The song that was the longest to write and why? 

We do not write songs, we only make improvised music but I guess the longest jam in the studio was about 90mins long during the Dead man in Space sessions. The song High Pilots was part of that jam. 

Your most emotional track: 

Some would say, Raga for Jerry G from our Different Creatures album. 

Dream collaboration:

I would love to get Frank Marino to jam with us or Zakk Wylde.. Never know…. But one that is more likely to happen is to work with White Hills.. I love those guys…

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

IT is always exciting as we do not know what music we are going to make.  I am not nervous but just excited to see the audience, our fans and to be able to make music for people and see them smile and dance…

The hardest track to play live:

They are all hard as we have to concentrate a lot to play 2-3hrs of totally improvised music. It is not that easy……

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

Sleeping earplugs, good music for the van, my diary, recorder to record all the shows. A good attitude….

Prog, psychedelic, space rock fans..

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

Bridge of Sighs by Robin Trower… very spacey and amazing guitar. the recent 5.1 mix is fantastic.. 

What we can look forward to from your band this year: 

We had our 44th album, Orgone Unicorn out in July this year. The next studio album, Alotta hella down in Estrella, will be out in March next year. We have a DVD from the Crescendo Festival in France 2022 coming out in November and in December, the album Relaxing in the Himalayas on vinyl. It was previously a bandcamp subscriber CD.

We will also have a 20th anniversary concert in Copenhagen, Denmark on April 11-12th. This is going to be very special with lots of old members and a killer light show, special merch and poster display etc..  Lots to look forward.
