Movin’ Too Fast – Artful Dodger
Today we are heading back to the late nineties to have a look at a dance track that was everywhere. I honestly thought I had already written about this song and was so surprised when I discovered that I had not. I remember it being on the radio a lot when I was a kid.
Movin’ Too Fast was a single released by garage band Artful Dodger on the 26th July 1999 and featured the singer Remina Johnson. It was produced by the band and released on the record label Locked On.
The song was originally a single that was released by Romina Johnson and the duo remixed it and it was added to the Artful Dodgers debut album It’s All About The Stragglers which was released in 2000.
The song did really well in the UK charts and went to number 1 on the UK Dance and UK Indie Charts and number 2 in the UK Singles chart. It also went certified platinum in the UK selling over 600,000 copies.
