There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
If there is one thing that I love about London is that it is so photogenic and there are so many places that you can get some amazing photographs even if it was an image that you capture by accident. Today we look at a photo that I didn’t even realise how exciting it was until I looked at it a lot later after I took the shot.
It was a cold winters evening in central London, my friend had got us tickets to a television recording and whilst we were waiting to queue up we walked past Westminster Abbey and that is when I took that photograph. The one thing I noticed and instantly fell in love with was the way that the light is depicted in the image, I adore the way that it has really captured the glare and made a natural light flare.
I think this photograph really defines why I love London – it is wonderful what you can see in the capital even if you capture it on film by accident.
