Today we are heading back to the early noughties to have a look at a single that was released by actress and musician Lindsay Lohan.

Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To A Father) was released on the 18th October 2005. It was written by Lindsay Lohan, Kara DioGuardi and Greg Wells and was released under the record label of Casablanca. The song was from her second studio album that was called A Little More Personal (Raw) that was released the same year.

The single was written for her father who survived a car crash whilst he was under the influence.

The single did really well in the charts and went to number 7 in the Australian charts and number 14 in the US Charts.
