We sent our reviewer Damian to watch My Brain is Soup, Your Hands Are the Spoons
The Wee Yurt, with its sound leakage (in), mysteriously flapping roof, and small interior, is ideal for this very strange show.
Chris East plays several characters (all of them him) while interacting with (conspiring with?) the audience. There is clearly a plan (the many costumes and excellently teched sound make that clear) but it involves elements of improv and clowning, so every audience will get something a bit different.
It’s very funny, and very peculiar. If you enjoyed Doctor Brown, Freddie Hayes, or Luke Rollason then this will be for you. If you don’t know who they are, but are willing to have the inside of your head tickled by an 8-year-old adult, it is probably also for you. At least one person in the audience had seen it before and was back for more.
