The Travel Book – Ting Thai, Edinburgh & Glasgow, Scotland

If you are heading to the Edinburgh Fringe month then there will be a place that you may want to visit for food. I came across this restaurant in Glasgow when my friend introduced it to me and the food was so delicious I felt I had to talk about it, especially at a time when so many people are going to be in the area to try it! Welcome to the world of Ting Thai.

It is a restaurant serves up Thai food and originally started as a street food that was served at the Festival. Since then it has grown so much in popularity that there are now four locations that you can visit. The restaurant has two locations in both Glasgow (Nile Street and Byres Road) and Edinburgh (Teviot Place and Lothian Road). It was founded by Ting and Ae Tapparat.

The menu is full of lots of selection from starters, to noodles to lighter options all priced rather well and the portions are really fair. I have been to this establishment a lot since being introduced to it because the food is absolutely fantastic. It is really well flavoured, indulgent and just really tasty, if you are heading to the Fringe make it your mission to visit here.
