Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Hi! I’m a Canadian who’s been living in London for 2 years. I like little dogs, funny things have social anxiety and say the wrong thing most of the time!

Tell us all about your show!

I’ve been describing my show as “ A show for anyone who thinks it’s too late to achieve their dreams….because it probably is”. It sounds pessimistic. But I really wanted to take the negativity that I, and lots of others sometimes feel and turn it into something relatable and funny. And I think I have done that with this show.

How did you come up with the name of your show that you’re taking to the fringe?

It just popped in my head one day and I immediately knew it was the right fit for me/this show.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

I haven’t really looked into it yet. But I am excited to see shows this time around! Last time I did the fringe I had an evening time and I found it too hard to see much before my showtime because I had pre show jitters all day long! This time I’m in the afternoon which frees me up to see many great acts in the evening.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I’ve done it once. (2022). My advice would be manage your expectations. The fringe is wonderful. But if you’re going for any other reason then you have a great show and you’re excited to put it out there…. you run the risk of being severely disappointed.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

The first two days my morning started with going to the gym. Day 3 and onward I forgot all about that goal and the real routines began! I walked a lot. And during my days would do relaxing things like get a manicure, or a massage etc. I’m all about feeling your best on show days. And for me feeling good usually starts with some sort of self pampering treatment.

What is the best way to enjoy yourself at the fringe?

I’m not exactly sure. I have a habit of secluding myself so I didn’t socialize or go out as much as I should have. My goal this time around is to actually put myself out there, meet people and maybe make friends. I do like being alone but  this year I am determined to not be such a hermit.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

I mostly made my own food. I love to cook so being able to have a place with a kitchen is always top priority to me!

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Seeing people enjoy your art.

Top tips for travelling around the Fringe and getting to shows on time?

Walk, walk, walk. I took the bus a few times. But I saw so many things just by walking everywhere all the time.

What would be your top three items every performer must take to the fringe?

Anti anxiety meds, a strong will to live and a portable phone charger.

What’s the secret to successful flyering?

Have a good team!

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Because it’s fun!
