The Travel Book – Glasgow Botanical Garden, Scotland

When you visit a city, most of the time you can guarantee that there are going to be certain tourist sites that you should add to your to do list. Today we are heading to Glasgow to look at something that’s free, popular and very pretty.

Glasgow Botanical Gardens is located on Great Western Road – it is short metro or bus journey away from the town centre.

The Botanical garden is a place that prides itself for being a location that conserves, educates and is used as a research facility for various plants and flowers. They have many events that you can get involved in, you just need to check the website for more information.

You can visit the gardens everyday of the week between 10am-4pm and is free entry. If you want to find out more about the plants you can by going on free guided tours that run on Thursdays and Saturdays.

I visited the Botanical Gardens and really enjoyed it. The garden was really interesting and a joy to see.
