Tell us about:
Your latest single you have released:
The latest is “Bad Love” which is a very long song, over 7 minutes, and it develops from a sort of bluesy ballad like style to a powerful hard rock and to the final part of sheer psychedelics!
Your favourite lyric in this song:
Probably the first verse that sounds pretty intriguing.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
We find that the entire album is full of favourites but having to pick one it’s “The Brighter Side”.
Your favourite song to play live:
It’s “Bad Love” again. It has so many nuances that are always a pleasure to explore and because of that it comes out every time in surprising new ways.
The song that was the longest to write and why?
Probably “The Brighter Side” because we couldn’t find enough time to rehearse and the song is quiet tricky, different moods, rhythms and the arrangements did sound very confused for a long stretch.
Your most emotional track:
It has to be “Hard Times” that makes you join a difficult journey through life.
Dream collaboration:
Foo Fighters, no doubts about that!
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
A bit of butterflies in the stomach, a touch of wonder that it’s actually happening, a great deal of energy ready to expolde!
The hardest track to play live:
Probably “Revolution” since it has parts that are so different from each other, some odd beats and of course you have to keep up with the right amount of energy.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Like Douglas Adams wrote in “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” all you need is a towel!
Describe your fans in three words:
Crazy, passionate, restless!
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
“All My Life” by Foo Fighters. What an intriguing pattern and such a wild energy!
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
The full album is due to be released by the end of march and then we’ll go touring to promote it.
