MJB da MVP – Mary J Blige feat 50 Cent
Today we are looking at a song that I came across on a playlist the other week and it stopped me in my tracks as I completely forgot that this track even existed and it was fun to hear it again. So today we are going to take a trip down memory lane and have a look at this song.
MJB da MVP was released by Mary J Blige and 50 Cent on the 18th April 2005, it was released under the record label of Geffen and was produced by Cool & Dre. The single was taken from Mary J Blige’s seventh studio album that was called The Breakthrough that was also released in the same year.
Even though the song was catchy it actually did not chart as well as you would expect, it went into the top 100 in Ireland (4), the United Kingdom (33) and the US Hot Billboard 100 (75).
When I heard this the other day I instantly liked it again, I don’t think I had ever heard it that much maybe once or twice before and it was lovely to listen to it again.
