Day 16 – Failure To Launch

There was a time when Matthew McConaughey was in a lot of rom coms, some were good, some were bad, today we are looking at one that goes into the good category and is quite a fun watch.

Heres the synopsis:

A thirty-something is still living with his parents until they hire an interventionist to help him graduate out of the house. That’s when the fun begins.

Failure To Launch is a film that is a very unusual concept but at the same time makes it very fun to watch. There are some really fun and laugh out loud moments which make it a really great example of a rom com.

It is a fun story even though a bizarre one and it makes it an enjoyable film. It is weird seeing big names like Bradley Cooper in sidekick roles and I forgot until I rewatched this film that he used to be in a lot of these sort of roles at one point. The one thing I am not a fan of in this film is the silly sections with the animals attacking Matthew and the weird scream Sarah Jessica Parker does.
