Your latest single you have released:

“Rock star” is the title (although it hasn’t been released, just yet!) it’s basically as it says on the tin. The meaning behind the song is about playing in a band, having fun with your mates etc but also about the times that aren’t so great. This is whether you are an established artist, or not. 

Your first single and how you felt when it was released:

“Obtuse” was the name of our first single, with our current lineup. This was a massive change in direction for us as we started to sound a bit heavier now and we became more “alternative.”

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

“Dirty Lies” is my favourite. It has everything – grunge, rock and a nod to some 90s dance! 

Your favourite song to play live:

“Dirty Lies” or “Winning Now.” Both are great fun, full of lots of energy and shouting!

Your most emotional track:

“You.” I wrote this song about my daughter.

The best lyric you have ever written:

Our new song, “Rock Star” has a line in it, which I like – “You stole my heart and gave it a selling price.”

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

Pure adrenaline and an ultimate buzz. It’s amazing!

The hardest track to play live:

A cover song – i’m not the biggest fan of playing other peoples songs. Sometimes the fans want you to play it close to the original or they want you to play it, completely different.

Deodorant! It gets sweaty…

Describe your fans in three words:

Happy, energetic, sexy.

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

“Best of You” by the Foo Fighters. Full of energy, lots of shouting, lots of guitars – just brilliant.

What we can look forward to from your band this year:

We are doing lots of interviews at the moment as well and the plan is to try and book some new shows for 2024. If you see us at a gig, come and say hello!
