INTERVIEW – A Quick Conversation With: The Rockit King

Welcome to the feature where we ask musicians or bands five really tough questions about music! Today we speak to the band The Rockit King and give them some tough questions about music. Be sure to check out their latest single So Long Goodbye as well.

What is the hardest lyric you have ever had to write and why?

I wrote some lyrics in French for a song on out third album.  That was tricky given that Je ne parle pas Français.

What is the weirdest gift or compliment a fan has given you?

I’m always off put when someone tries to compliment us by some 80’s comparison.  I’m a 70’s music fan with no real love for buttrock.

Who is the best band or musician you have had the pleasure to share the stage with?

Too many to count but the NICEST was almost certainly David Lee Roth.

What one of your songs has been the most difficult to rehearse for a live audience?

Quieter numbers like Day Late & A Dollar Short or No Matter What.  We’re a loud Rock ‘N’ Roll band.

Dream Collaboration and why

Honestly, probably a duet with a Country artist.  That sounds like fun to me.
