Yesterday the king of Rock n Roll Liam Gallagher returned to the music scene with his long awaited brand new album As You Were.
This album is fantastic and it’s what the music industry has been missing – an album with feeling, fantastic musical melodies and not one bad song. There are just too many songs on the track to go through each and every one, however stand out tracks include the hit chart track Wall of Glass as it’s just so catchy, For What It’s Worth for it’s beautiful musical melodies and Paper Crown for fantastic lyrics and just a wonderful song.
A lot of critics are calling it the best album Liam has released in decades, and I have to agree.
It is an album of pure magic and joy and whilst his retro influences are evident, it is very modern and fresh. When Liam enters the world with new music he makes a scene that gets noticed and this time it deserves all the notice as it can get! A truly delightful album, now that this review is coming to an end I will end it in true Liam social media style – As You Were!
Rating – 9/10
