I love travelling, I love jumping on a plane and going to new places and exploring. There is still so much of the world I want to see but on the way, there are many places I have visited and fallen in love with and would say they are some of my favourite places I have been to. To welcome you to this brand new feature I am going to talk to you about some of my favourite places I have visited.
Chicago

I always wanted to go to Chicago and instantly fell in love with it when i first went there. There is something about that city, it’s like a mix between New York and London and that’s what I love about it. It’s a city that is bustling with interactive media installations which I found fascinating and also such a great city to walk around. I went in June 2011 and we loved it so much we went back the same year and at christmas that place is even more magical. The Navy Pier gets transformed into a Christmas land that Nightmare Before Christmas would be jealous of. It’s a fantastic city and fell in love with the place. It’s only in recent years that i have discovered its the home of Improv and now desperate to re-visit as it really feels like somewhere that one day I could call home.
The fjords, Norway

I went on a cruise to Norway to see the fjords and instantly fell in love with the beautiful picturesque views. From the experience I had, the best way to see beautiful scenic areas of Norway is by boat, it is so breathtaking some of the views that you end up seeing even at the earliest time in the morning. I have only been as far up as Gieranger and olden so there is so much of the coastline left to explore that I want to go to the North to see the Northern Lights.
New York City

I lived in NYC for 3 months in 2010 and fell in love with the city and the hustle and bustle of such a huge place. It was so fun working in the week day and then being a tourist on the weekend, sightseeing galore. It was a great place to live, my eyes always felt like they were just wide eyed all the time trying to take everything in. It’s one of those places where you can accidentally walk onto film and television sets as well, which is what I did with a Joseph Gordon-Levitt film….oops!
Thun, Switzerland

One gear at Christmas I went interrailing around Switzerland and one of the places that we stopped at was a small village called Thun in the middle of a beautiful mountainous area were it is is like a hidden hole in the bottom of its beautiful scenery.
Universal Studios, Orlando

A bit of an unusual one I know to put on here but let me explain first. I am a huge fan of old Hollywood so whenever I have visited Univesal Studios I fall in love with areas of the park instantly. I love everything in these parks as there is parts where they depict the old high streets that they would of used in old Hollywood. I love the rides there too but there is so much more to it then that.
Antigua

We went on a cruise to the Caribbean and booked an excursion on Antigua which included kayaking in the mangroves. It was such an amazing experience – Antigua was such a beautiful country and exploring the kayaks and the nature in the kayaks was such a great experience as we saw things such as upside down jellyfish in the wild. We also went on some amazing speed boat rides to beautiful secluded islands and through rough sea which is so so fun! I have very great memories from spending just a day on this beautiful island.
