ICE CREAM PEANUT BUTTER CUP CAKE

Today we are heading down the frozen aisle to look at something that sounds like a unique combination – ice cream and cake! This is quite a popular thing in the United States but today we are going to take a look at a version that combines something special.

In 2021 it was announced that Friendly’s were releasing something delightful that could be purchased in the frozen aisle of grocey stores. Friendly’s is actually a restaurant chain that is based on the East Coast and originally opened in 1935. You can now find produce of theirs in the grocery stores.

A few years ago they decided to go big on an American classic – a huge cake that is basically like a big peanut butter cup. On the packet it describes it as ‘premium peanut butter ice cream with chopped peanut butter cups. Topped with chocolate flavoured truffle fudge glaze and whipped icing.

The product comes in a 60z portion and it can be purchased for around $22.99 and each portion was 390 calories. It is also 24 grams of fat per portion as well. To serve the product you slice it 15 minutes before serving and you eat it frozen.

There are mixed reviews online with some saying that it is overpriced for what you get whilst others liked the flavour.
